I'm transgender and live in the US, but my mother and many of my close family members are from Poland, and I have a ton of family in Poland. Luckily the ones who live here don't have any negative opinions of LGBT people (for the most part). This year I started transitioning, and one of my biggest fears when I fully come out is causing a divide between those who support me and those who don't / those who are currently living in Poland. I fully anticipate it will be a complete mess. I'm also sad because I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to go to Poland because of this. It's strange having such a rich heritage and culture that I feel like I'm being forced to abandon.

I got blocked from participating in r/politics supposedly because I was inciting violence. I contacted the moderator and walked him through the comment in question, explaining where he was misinterpreting the intended context. They can still go out but need a serious reason (work, medical reasons or to get food). People who find themselves far from home can still use restaurants and stores, but they have to stay at a distance of at least 1 meter from anyone who's not part of their household.You can go outside, they just asked us to avoid people and public places as much as possible.
