People will post some horrific life events (personal, financial, etc) and the first comments I read are for those people to finish or start school at any cost regardless of what else may be happening in their lives.Worn out in-jokes. I think it's great that reddit has a 'culture' and that memes and in-jokes come about, but do people seriously need to comment 'hur dur broken arms' 'cUm cOcOnUt lOl' on every single post?

Try sorting by rising or new in your favorite subs. You'll catch things much earlier that way and Reddit will seem fresher. And then "hot" and front page will turn into those posts you raised from nothing and you'll feel pride! I got blocked from participating in r/politics supposedly because I was inciting violence. I contacted the moderator and walked him through the comment in question, explaining where he was misinterpreting the intended context. Instead of considering it, he doubled down on his own interpretation (he fancies himself a mind reader, I guess). Some weeks later, still banned from posting, I noticed another individual make a comment similar to mine. This was followed by several other comments, indicating he wasn't banned. In short: the ECHR is binding law in Poland as Poland has signed on to the treaty of Lisbon. The ECHR prohobits discrimination against LGBT.
