This is something I've done, and I only became conscious of it about a month ago, but the need to correct someone in any situation. Especially in fandom subs like r/lotr, someone will make a joke about something and another person who rereads the Silmarillion every weekend tells them that the joke doesn't make sense from a lore perspective. There is no light heartedness on this website anymore because people feel the need to dissect every statement and insert whatever fact they can to come out on top. Whimsicality has died and it's very depressing.

I couldn’t imagine not cancelling plans especially since most of the places will be spring break hot spots. Maybe I’d go and take precautions if it was a wholesome little spring break where there were not thousands of different people visiting and leaving the same city every week for about a month and a half long. Scary stuff.I'm at a university and nine of the undergrads care. They think this is all overblown media panic. I will yield if I am not passing cars who are in the right lane. However, I am not going to slip behind someone in the right lane, be forced to slow down and then risk trying to get back in the left lane to get going again. It is far safer to pass first.In Arkansas people will still attempt to fly around you the moment there’s a tiny space, regardless of whether or not you have your signal on.
