Even though the election was a very close call I am now scared to go visit my parents. It’s a very weird feeling cause I’m actually a little butch muscly bearded bear so probably most of the hooligans will think I’m straight but the feeling of being watched or followed is what I’m scared of. Like what if someone finds out im gay, what will happen, will I be followed, will my parents get their windows bricked... It’s really messing with my mind. Well I’m gonna go in December anyways and hope for the best. I think seeing banners equating homosexuality with peadophilia made me think that my country of birth is now turning into Russia... again.
