I explained that in my country (UK) there is a shortage of adopters and too many children.... and had I not adopted, the child would likely have never had a family.

Seriously, a lot of Democrats are also in the pockets of major corporations. AOC is really good at communicating why money has come to dominate politics and why it is bad.
